An experienced lawyer with more than 25 years in practice, Robert Tschöpl built his career on international insurance and damages work at Rödl & Partner and Schaffer & Partner in Prague, Brno and Nuremberg, and founded the firm in 2001. His work centres on assessing the merits and quantum of damages claims — including the handling and capitalisation of major personal-injury claims — as well as cross-border claims and matters involving public procurement and subsidies. He also specialises in international inheritance law and in the restructuring, liquidation and insolvency of companies. He chairs the Czech-German Association of Lawyers and Tax Advisers and is deputy chair of the Czech-German Lawyers' Association.
